You now know who to call, but what if you can’t call yourself?
Why this is important
A paper list with all important contacts is essential. Not only telephone numbers, but also addresses, blood group, medical information and emergency instructions belong to it.
How to do it
Use a simple sheet of paper or template. Note down family members, relatives, neighbours, GP, insurer, school and work. Add instructions: where to gather in a crisis, who calls whom. Make two copies: one at home, one in your bug-out bag.
