Without light, every house becomes strange and dangerous. This week you’ll ensure reliable lighting, so you don’t fumble about in panic during a power cut.

Why this is important

During a power outage you can’t see anything, you can’t cook and you can’t even move about safely. With some preparation you maintain control.

What you need

Torches (preferably LED), a head torch per person, candles or tealights, matches and a supply of batteries. Also consider a lamp with rechargeable battery or with hand dynamo.
🧷 choosing the right torch? Definitely pay attention to these matters

💡 Test one evening without electricity. You’ll immediately notice where it’s too dark and what’s missing.

Checklist week 4

✅ Torches tested
✅ Batteries in stock
✅ Candles and lighter
✅ Head torch per person

Conclusion

Light provides calm and overview. With a few inexpensive aids you maintain control, even in the dark.
