Even now you can find herbs: thyme, sage and rosemary often grow wild in gardens or along walls.

Herbs strengthen the immune system and keep well. Dry them in bunches above a heat source or in an oven at low temperature. Aromatic herbs do more than add flavour – they keep you healthy.

Checklist:

✅ Recognise thyme and sage in the wild
✅ Dry herbs for tea or soup
✅ Make oil with fresh herbs
✅ Label your supplies

Grow your own herbs

You can of course also choose to plant herbs yourself in your garden: thyme and sage in particular are very easy herbs to plant and grow.
